And I think that most of us in the world want the same thing. Nobody wants to live with a cloudy environment constantly hanging over their heads. The only way we can truly be free is to be at peace.
Those that know me absolutely know how much I hate politics, especially decisions made following party lines. It is like you believe whatever your “side” tells you to believe. There is so much disinformation actually put out there and deliberately produced via AI – which is very scary.
Please, do your own research (from whatever source you trust the most, which is very limited) and form your own opinions. Not mine, your favorite celebrities, or whomever you feel is your guru.
Most people in our country are good, kind, giving people who will often go out of their way to help others. Do not believe the hatred that is floating out there is the vast feeling of the majority. It is not!
And one more thing that I have to throw out there….
A whole bunch of the younger protesters – teenagers and college “students” – are protesting because they just have no healthy way to let out their pent-up frustrations. I know for a fact that most middle school kids do not have a functioning brain in that they totally act before thinking. They actually enjoy watching the chaos. Keep that in mind…. they don’t have a clue of what is being protested. Back in my day the protests were there, only the slogan for hippies was make love, not war. Peaceful sit ins, along with a few puffs of smoke!
I always go back to the LA riots many years ago. Rodney King and his comment has stuck with me since.
“Why can’t we all just get along?”
